QuestWord is a live word-race game built for two audiences under one roof: kids 6–12 in a closely-moderated Kid Mode, and teens 13+ and adults in a separate, fully competitive ranked mode. One family plan covers both, with zero crossover between a child’s experience and an adult’s.
Most word games are either single-player puzzles or open social platforms with no real controls for families. We wanted something in between: real head-to-head competition — live matches, solve-time reveals, seasonal leagues — without the chat-with-strangers risk that makes most competitive multiplayer games a hard “no” for a parent of a 6-to-12-year-old.
Every account starts with a parent or guardian — a child never signs up independently, and every child profile lives inside a parent-controlled account with its own Safety & Controls screen. In-match communication is limited to preset phrases and emoji, never free text, so a child can never share personal information with another player. See our COPPA Notice for the full detail.
We’re a small team shipping quickly — word bank expansion, deeper progression, and community features are all active work. Follow along on the Blog for updates, or reach out if you’d like to tell us what you’d want to see next.
