These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern use of QuestWord. By creating an account, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and any child profile you create.
Only a parent or guardian aged 18+ may create and manage a QuestWord account. Child profiles are created and managed by that parent account — children never have independent purchase or billing access. Adults and teens 13+ may also create their own player account for the separate adult/teen mode.
QuestWord must be used for its intended purpose — word-race gameplay and practice. Attempting to harass another player, circumvent moderation or blocking, exploit bugs for unfair advantage, or automate play (bots/scripts) is prohibited and may result in suspension or termination of the account.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly, every 6 months, or annually, per the selected plan) until cancelled. A 7-day free trial is included with every plan. Cancel anytime from the Parent Dashboard’s Billing screen — access continues through the end of the current billing period, no calls or forms required. Refunds are handled per the billing platform’s (App Store / Google Play / web payment provider’s) own refund policy.
Matches are played for XP, levels, and cosmetic rewards only. QuestWord contains no real-money wagering, gambling mechanics, or cash prizes of any kind.
A parent may delete their account at any time — see Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms or poses a safety risk to other players.
QuestWord is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, QuestWord’s liability for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the amount paid for the subscription in the preceding 12 months.
If we make a material change to these Terms, we’ll notify parents by email and update the effective date above before the change takes effect.
